He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McCarthy DeStefano; his sister Linda DeStefano (David Fernie); his children, Marc DeStefano (Veronica), Craig DeStefano (Marisol), Sean McCarthy (Lauren), Sarah Pauling (Todd), Daniel McCarthy (Kelly Ann) and Justin McCarthy (Jenna); and his sibling's children, Colin and Toby Fernie.
