She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Alexis; her parents, Apostolos Makrys and Photene Makrys (Cantelis); her sister Christine Straggas (late Stephen); and her niece Cynthia Straggas.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Constance Straggas, Catherine Dedo (Drew), Jon Straggas and Christina Perri (John). She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (57 Brown St, Weston, MA 02493). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
