He was predeceased by: his father Patrick (Mary Anne O'Rielly). He is survived by: his wife Kay (Walsh); his daughters, Kathleen of West Newton, Mary Toney (Greg) of Arlington, VA and Eileen Collins (Steve) of Reading; his grandchildren, Megan Toney Bolger (Darren) of Michigan, Brian Toney of Salem, James Collins of Brighton and Julia Collins of Los Angeles; his great grandchildren, Brandon and Zachary Bolger of Michigan; and his siblings, Margaret of Waltham, Bill (Jeanette) of England, Nance Tobin (Ralph), Johno (Josephine) and Terry (Marie) of Newfoundland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home (1479 Washington St, West Newton, MA 02465). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Church (1523 Washington St, West Newton, MA 02465). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at the Mount Feake Cemetery (203 Prospect St, Waltham, MA 02453).
