With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janice A. Rizza of Newton, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janice left this world on August 3, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Gatti Sr. and Theresa Gatti (Papia); and her sister Joyce Flynn (David). She is survived by: her husband Joseph F. Rizza; her daughters, Kathleen "Kathy" Rizza and Jeanette A. Cote (Bill) of Waltham; and her siblings, Lawrence "Butch" Gatti of Waltham, Linda Gatti of Maynard and Debbie Mazerolle of Maynard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons (773 Moody St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial (773 Moody St, Waltham, MA 02453).
