We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, Joan Marie Leone of Newton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Madden and Helen Madden; and her husbands, Joseph Leone and Joe. She is survived by : her sons, Joseph Leone of Billerica, Michael Leone (Brianna Crannell) of Marlborough and Daniel Leone of Newton; her grandchildren, Michael Leone, Gabriella Leone, Emma Leone, Arya Leone, Tyler McCarthy and Kaylee McGowan; her siblings, Jean Paton (late Mel Paton) of Burlington and Joseph Madden (Emily) of Billerica; and her nieces, Sarah and Diana Madden.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
