It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan O'Connor in Newton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Hickey and Wilma Hickey (Zippel); her husband Edward "Okie" O'Connor; and her sister Florence Piantedosi. She is survived by: her children, David O'Connor of Framingham, Timothy O'Connor of Framingham, William O'Connor (Laurie) and Connor of Virginia; her grandchildren, Christine, Courtney O'Connor of Nevada, Abigail and Sean O'Connor of Virginia; her great grandchildren, Sophie, Julian and Sawyer; and her brother Charles Hickey. She is also survived by dog "Teddy" and by many nieces and nephews.
