He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Tener and Alan Tener; and his brothers, Bob Tener (Jim) and Jim Tener. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Tener; his daughters, Beth Tener and Sharon Tener; his former wife Ellie Tener; his stepsons, Joseph and John Sconyers; and his stepgrandchildren, Arlo Tener, Callie Sconyers, Jack Sconyers, Abby Sconyers, Welles Sconyers, Sloan Sconyers and Quinn Sconyers.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (76 Eldredge St, Newton, MA 02458).
