With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Whelan of Newton, Massachusetts, born in Brighton, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul M. Whelan and Elaine B. Whelan; and his brothers, Michael T. Whelan and Richard F. Whelan. He is survived by: his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Lisa Whelan of Watertown; his sister Carol; his brother-in-law Jim Keating of Marshfield; his sisters, Kathleen McQuade of Newton and Diane McIsaac of Franklin; and his sister-in-law Marsha Whelan of Stoneham. He is also survived by his many cousins, aunts and uncles.
