Lionel Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lionel Jones of Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Jones and Will Jackson; and his brother William Joseph. He is survived by: his siblings, Allen Ray, Ruby Carter, Willma Jean, Julia Woods of Boston and Vera Mae of West Virginia; his wife Elizabeth Jones of Newton; his children, Latasha Crawford, Chanel Aguilar, Ashanti Jones, Sean Jones, Monique Jones and Michael Moody; his stepdaughter Amanda Chisolm; his grandchildren, Errol, Layla, Julian, Leigha, Charlie, Matthias, Lilly and Lonnell, Jr.; and his great grandchild Jeremiah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
