She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Kaner and Barnett Kaner; and her sister Debra Kaner. She is survived by: her husband Maurice J. Marcus; her children, Louis Marcus and Jerry Marcus; her children-in-law, Patricia Marcus, Mamie Marcus, Rick Herrick and Claudia Becerra; her grandchildren, Matthew (Kyle), Laura and Sam; and her sister Elaine Berman.
