As Mei-Yu departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mei-Yu may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mei-Yu leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Mu-En; her son Sean; and her sisters, Mei-Ching, Mei-Chou and Mei-Jean.

She is survived by: her sons, Jay and Alex; and her siblings, Adam Shen-Lung, Shen-Meen, Mei-Ti and Mei-Hui. She is also survived by nieces and nephews from her many siblings.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the McNamara Funeral Home (63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
