With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Susan Romanoff Strauss of Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Saul Mones Romanoff and Barbara Arick Romanoff. She is survived by: her husband Walter Strauss; her sons, Charles and Nathaniel; her siblings, Martha Romanoff and Steven Romanoff; and her grandchildren, Theo, Ruby, Alma and Julia.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel (1668 Beacon St, Brookline, MA 02445). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
