While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Luisa Caira (Alicandro); his children, Michael Caira (Rosemarie) and Rosanna Caira (Benjamin Brunkow); his grandchildren, Lucas, Andy Caira, Gianluca and Lorenzo Brunkow; and his brother Gerardo Caira (Marsella D'Agostino).
