Sara Matzkin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sara Matzkin (Newton, Massachusetts), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her significant other Michael Matzkin; her sons-in-law, Eric Smith, Brian Shactman and Liam Griffin; and her grandchildren, Abby, Sami, Emily Smith, Annie, Max, Bennett Shactman, John, Owen and Thomas Griffin.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Temple Shalom (175 Temple St, West Newton, MA 02465).
