It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Assunta C. Deane of North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Giuseppe Grande and Amalia Grande (Scerbo); her grandson Matthew Deane; and her siblings, Dominic, Pietro Grande, Filomena Demo, Elena Alcaro and Mafalda Musacchio.
She is survived by : her husband Alfred C. Deane; her children, Felicia Moran of Waterbury, CT and Stephen Deane of North Adams; her sister Marie Roy of Charlotte, NC; and her grandchildren, Stephen Deane, Cierra Andrews and Stephanie Miller. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
