Cecile Ferris Obituary
We bid farewell to Cecile Ferris of North Adams, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Cecile touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Serre and Mary Yvonna Serre (LeMire); her former husband Frank Baran; her husband George Louis Ferris; and her sisters, Jeanette Corbierre and Roma Gaylord.
She is survived by: her children, Jenny Moulton (John) of North Adams, Craig Ferris (Elizabeth) of Clarksburg and John Baran of North Adams; her grandchildren, Jenna, Jeffrey, Joseph, Jacqueline Moulton, Jesse, Destiny, Trinity Baran and Luke Ferris; her great grandchildren, Addy and Pasley; and her siblings, Lucille Stroud (Richard) of Chandler, AZ, Mary Jane Palmer (John) of Pittsfield, MA, Alice Brown of Cheshire, MA, Lillian Seckler (Don) of Pittsfield, MA, Shirley Hough (Doug) of Florida and Leon Serre (Kathy) of Cheshire, MA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church (70 Marshall St, North Adams, MA 01247). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
