It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen L. Batease Danforth of North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lodge and Shirley Lodge (Davis); her husband William David Danforth of Stamford, VT.; her children, Bruce A. Batease, Michelle I. Howe and Darlene A. Batease; her sister Alvina Oliver (Lodge); and her grandson Richard Printy.
She is survived by: her children, Lory L. Banks of Virginia Beach, VA and Mark E. Batease; and her grandchildren, Clifton Printy, Heather Printy, Leah Printy, Michael P. Toniatti, Jr. and Steven J. Columbus. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces.
