He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Carlson and Eilleen Carlson (Laurenson); his wife Justyna; his brother-in-law Ray "Harry" Price; and his close friends, Don Gunther and Jim Elliot.
He is survived by: his daughter Marissa Carlson (Tara Johnson) of North Adams; his granddaughter Ksena Johnson of North Adams; his sisters, Gail Price of Miles City, MT and Ann Carlson of Boise, ID; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Bird (Cliff) of Center, ND and Steve Price (Lori Tyner) of Miles City, MT.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home - West Chapel (521 W Main St, North Adams, MA 01247). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made out to the North Adams Historical Society, Northern Berkshire Community Coalition, or Mill City Productions.
