He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Montgomery and Elva Montgomery (Noel); his wife Lillian Ruth Montgomery (Harris); his children, Lynn, Robert Hewitt of North Adams, John and Rosellen Montgomery of Enfield, CT.; his grandchildren, Joshua Montgomery, Amy Walsh, Alyssa Montgomery, Keith Hewitt, Kurt Hewitt and Katie Gendron (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Aliyah Gamache and Lyliana Gendron. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested for Hospice of Western Massachusetts through the funeral home.
