She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Kalil and Cecilia Kalil (Assaf); her husband Samuel Ameen; her siblings, Eileen, Jeannette, Wallace and Walter; and her grandson Andrew.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Lang (late Thomas), Susan Chory (George), Nancy Rheault, Samuel Ameen Jr. (Lori), David Ameen (Jennifer) and Beatrice Tiberii (Bruce Flynn); and her siblings, Virginia Mackool (late George) and Shirley LaPointe (late Roger). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
