She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fyfe Anderson and Elizabeth Ross Anderson; her husband Bob McCarthy of Lawrence; her son Bobby; and her siblings, Jean, Betty, Doris, Alex, Stewart, Bob, John, Louie and Fred.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kristen, Brendan Gallagher, Corey, Sarah Pramas, Cam, Julianne Pramas, Tyler, Rose McCarthy and Kate Wrisley; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Colson Gallagher, Abby, Maeve Pramas and Maddie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to MS Foundation, an organization Cathy felt strongly about.
