He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Karen; his grandchildren, Jennifer and Joseph Barba; his great grandchildren, Grace and James of North Andover, MA; his grandchildren, Jami and Damien Fischer; his great grandchildren, Emerson and Sloane of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Jillian and Reza Kashani of Los Angeles, CA.; and his parents, Hubert and Monica Burke (McDowell). He was also cherished by his three daughters and their husbands, whom he loved like his own sons.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conte Funeral Home - North Andover (17 3rd St, North Andover, MA 01845). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (196 Main St, North Andover, MA 01845).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the The Mass General Cancer Center's Leukemia Treatment Program.
