She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest S. Pappalardo and Jennie E. Pappalardo (Lamazzo); her brother Joeseph Pappalardo; and her uncle Frank Tridenti. She is survived by: her children, David J. Higginbottom (Elizabeth) of Charlestown, MA and Nancy A. Braase (Gido) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Adam Higginbottom and Chelsea Wright (Matthew); her great grandchild Oliver; her grandchild Natascha Braase; her aunt Irene Tridenti; her close friend Mildred Warshaw; and her goddaughter Sharon Fields. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA, honoring Leigh's lifelong dedication to the welfare of animals.
