It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Bates of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Chapman and Therese Chapman (Bry); and her son Shaun D. Bates. She is survived by: her husband Donald M. Bates; her children, Derek M. Bates and Lauren T. Almeida (Steven J. Almeida); her granddaughters, Olivia Kronberg, Asher Bates and Lilliana Almeida; her sisters, Gail, Susan, Julie and Mary; and her grandchild Dunkin'. She is also survived by cousins and close friends.
