He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton H. Bliss and Ethel Bliss (McKechnie); and his brothers, Bruce Bliss, Donald Bliss and Carlton H. Bliss, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Prudence "Prudy" Bliss (Adams); his children, Cynthia Detscher (Mark Detscher) of Bedford, NH and Stacey Nassaney (Ryan Nassaney) of North Attleboro, MA.; and his grandchildren, Cameron, William, Meredith, Abigail Detscher, Owen, Shawn and Brayden Nassaney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
