She was predeceased by: her husband Leon E. Berard; her son-in-law Ralph Nichols; her siblings, Axle "Pete" Peterson, Arlen "Tuffy" Peterson and Agnes StCyr (Peterson); and her parents, Alick Peterson and Theora Peterson (Mundell).
She is survived by: her children, Jesse L. Berard and Marlene Nichols; her grandchildren, Shannon Nichols and Nicole Nichols; and her brother Arthur "Butch" Peterson of North Brookfield. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
