He was predeceased by: his parents, Alick Peterson and Theora Peterson (Mundell); and his siblings, Axle "Pete" Peterson, Arlen "Tuffy" Peterson, Agnes St (Peterson) and Anna Berard (Peterson).
He is survived by: his wife Janice Peterson (Courtemanche); and his sons, Richard Peterson (Maureen) and Robert Peterson (Sherry). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
