He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Coughlin; his sons, Ryan Coughlin (Juanita Hesse), Brendan Coughlin of Belchertown, MA and Brodie Coughlin of North Brookfield; his brother Glenn Coughlin (Suzanne) of Worcester, MA; and his grandchildren, Carter Coughlin-Hesse and Carson Ryan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
