It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley M. Morrissette of North Brookfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Arthur E. Morrissette; her parents, Jamie Lawrence and Viola Swindlehurst (Dunlop); her brother James Swindlehurst; and also Betty Sweeny of Ware.

She is survived by : her sister Anne Kupiek of Ware; her niece Cheryl; her nephew James Sweeney; and her caregiver Karen Bessette (Janet Quaterale) of North Brookfield. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

“Shirley & Art were kindest and caring of people. I knew them as a youngster. When they found out I had never seen the ocean they took me with them one summer in '64 and treated me to a day at the beach and amusement park. As I got older Art would share his wisdom of woodworking he was a true artist. Beautiful people”
