He is survived by: his wife Alice Mello (Mello) of Somerset; his children, Donna Briggs (Robert) of Dighton, Charles A. Mello of Fall River, Therese Sloane (Jennifer Nelson) of Warwick, Mark Mello (Lisa) of Dighton and Jason Mello (Erin) of Somerset; and his sister Eva Souza of Fall River. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
