With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise M. Desrochers of North Dighton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rene Desrochers and Eva Desrochers (Levesque); and her niece Hannah Desrochers. She is survived by: her husband John C. Poirier; her grandson Nicholas Poirier; her brothers, George Desrochers (Beth) and Daniel Desrochers; her niece Laura (Danny); her nephew Evan (Monica); her stepchildren, Michael Poirier (Elena), Matthew Poirier (Kathy) and Jillian Poirier; and her stepgrandchild Scout. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family.

“Louise and I both worked at NorthMain Radiation. Louise was a genuinely good person. Never said an unkind word about anyone. Louise would leave everyday and walk at lunch. I so admired her energy! She loved her cat and would tell me stories about him. When he got sick, she did all she could to make him comfortable and extend his life. She was compassionate and caring to the patients she saw in her lab. I hope Heaven has a lot of cats Louise! You will be deeply missed. <3”
