With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Papineau of North Easton, Massachusetts, born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Papineau to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert E. Papineau and Virginia M. Papineau (Sexton); and his siblings, Marshall A. Papineau, Virginia M. Gegg and Paul J. Papineau.

He is survived by : his wife Maureen E. Papineau (Gorman); and his children, Charles J. Papineau (Paula) of West Bridgewater, Anne M. McCann (Anthony) of Easton, Richard A. Papineau (Kathleen), Jennifer M. Brown (John) of Easton and Janice A. Cate (Kevin) of Tilton, NH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I am so sad to hear about Mr. Papineau’s leaving. He was always so kind to me. As a teenager he called me “Miss Freitas”. Loved his smile and laugh. He sent me an article about my business he found and sent a letter of encouragement along with it. He was so thankful that I told him about the passing of his lifetime friend, Loring Johnson, that he sent me a lovely letter of thanks. He was always a gentleman. My life has been blessed by his life. I love you Mr. Papineau.”
