She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Dawson; her parents, Charles McCarthy and Anne McCarthy (McCaffrey); her son Barry Dawson; her grandchild Robbie; and her sister Ellen McCarthy.
She is survived by: her sons, James Dawson (Tiffany) of Billerica and Brad Dawson of Stoneham; her grandchildren, Liam, Rory, Nolan Dawson, Ritchie, Kerriann, Robin, Tammy, Eric, Ryan, Ashley and Alexandra; her great grandchildren, Christina, Makayla, Jacob, Kylie, Shaylyn, Kaydyn Chayce, Emery, Hunter, Jackson, Maverick, Hayley and Baker; her great great grandchildren, Joshua, Dominic, Kaiden and Sophia; her siblings, John McCarthy (Marie), Charles McCarthy (Terry), Gerard McCarthy (Terry), Mary Duffy and James McCarthy; her brother-in-law George Duffy; her goddaughter Elizabeth Roosevelt; her nieces and nephews, Kevin, Stephen, Johnny, Kelly, Jennifer and James; and her friend Christopher Barnard.
