He was predeceased by: his significant other Ann Marie (Amicone). He is survived by: his children, Donna Schofield (Walter) and Rick McCaffrey; his grandchildren, Sarah Mansur (Nicholas), Rachel Schofield (Thomas Howes), Kaitlyn McCaffrey and Matthew McCaffrey; and his pets, Tuck and Morgan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barile-Cota Funeral Home (335 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Cota Family Funeral Home (335 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Theresa's Church (63 Winter St, North Reading, MA 01864). A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Forestdale Cemetery (150 Forest St, Malden, MA 02148).
