He is survived by: his children, Brent Barringer (Andrea) and Jill Borgonzi (Mike); his grandchildren, William O'Connor, Joey Borgonzi, Nina Borgonzi and Parker Barringer; and his sisters, Virginia Kirlis and Nancy Byrne (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Barile-Cota Funeral Home (335 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Theresa's Church (63 Winter St, North Reading, MA 01864). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Riverside Cemetery.
