“What a wonderful, generous-hearted, and adventurous life so very well lived. I am so sorry Hattie has moved on but so glad I was lucky enough to have known her. I remember with a smile her tearing over to our house in Deerfield to get my children to see a turtle laying eggs on her lawn, and driving them often for ice cream and a day at the Tri Town Beach. A woman with that special combination of brains, beauty, and a huge heart. I give thanks for a person like her. She made life so fun.”
