He was predeceased by: his wife Joan C. Behrens; and his brother Frederick Behrens. He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Behrens of Northampton, MA and Laura B. Nigro (Michael) of Lake George, NY.; his grandchildren, Justine, Lindsay, Kory and Nicholas; his great grandchild Ava; his brother Walter Behrens; his close friend Regina Painter; and his friend Scott Nelson.
