He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy C. (Orlowski); and his parents, Manuel P. Lima and Belmira Lima (Rego). He is survived by: his sons, David W. Lima (Pamela) of Berlin, MA, Steven M. Lima (Pauline) of Nashua, NH, Michael R. Lima of Tempe, AZ and Robert B. Lima (Cheryl) of Murrietta, CA; his grandchildren, Ben (Mariana), Justin (Christine), Nick (Carolyn), Dominique (Nick), Michael (Emily), Sarah, Ryan (Gloria), Kiersten, Rachel, Kaylee and Logan; his stepgrandchildren, Nick and Kathleen; and his great grandchildren, Vinny, Jacob, Tyler, Claire, Henry and Elsie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rock Funeral Home (1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (125 Main St, Acushnet, MA 02743). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (559 Mt Pleasant St, New Bedford, MA 02745).
