Norma Caron Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Caron of Northborough, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neno Tagliaferri and Carmeline Tagliaferri (Delmolino); and her siblings, Nancy Genelli, John and Joseph Tagg.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Roland R. Caron; her children, Dr. Cynthia Poole (late Michael Poole), Matthew J. Caron, Anthony J. Caron, Roland R. Caron, Jr., Elena Mahoney and Justin Caron (Sara); and her grandchildren, Anthany Richard Caron, Andrea Mercado, Olivia Garwrych (Daniel Garwrych), Emily O'Connor (Kyle O'Connor), Julia Caron, Madelline, Grace, Henry Poole, Christopher, Calvin Caron and Roland Caron, III.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A procession will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 9:40 AM to 10:00 AM at the Departing the Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Anne’s Church (130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 or the Christopher R. Caron Scholarship Fund in care of Assumption College, 500 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
