As we bid Patricia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Patricia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael Carrigan and Margaret Carrigan (Smith); her husband Michael A. Horgan; her son Brett P. Horgan; her brother Michael "Buddy" Carrigan; her children, Michael Horgan (Tracy) of Northborough and Deirdre Smirl (Jon) of Wellesley, MA; and her grandchildren, Connor and Fiona Smirl of Wellesley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chiampa Funeral Home (5 Church Rd, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette's Church (266 Main St, Northborough, MA 01532).
In accordance with Patricia's wishes, flowers are welcome or donations can be made to Good Shepard Community Hospice Care https://gscommunitycare.org.
