He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Avakian (Sohigian); and his parents, George D. Avakian, and Margaret Avakian, Sr. (Kachajian). He is survived by: his siblings, Peter Avakian (Shiela) of Largo, FL, Katherine Shea of Worcester, Pamela Campo (Gary) of Northbridge and Patricia Ebbeling (David) of Charlton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
