With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen J. Wielsma (Northbridge, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Plantinga and Edith Plantinga (VanderBrug); and her brother Ronald J. Plantinga of Northbridge. She is survived by: her husband Earl J. Wielsma; her children, Vonda J. Wielsma of Madison, Wisconsin, Holly J. Britt (Timothy) of Sturbridge and Jason T. Wielsma (Christina) of Whitinsville; her grandsons, Derek and Jared Wielsma; her siblings, Harold Plantinga (Barbara) of Whitinsville and Helena Bloem (Glen) of Whitinsville; and her sister-in-law Roxie Plantinga of Franklin.
