He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Barfield Souther (Smith); his children, Kimberly Impagliazzo (David, Sr.) of North Attleboro, Sara Barfield-Sims (Adam) of Rehoboth, George Souther of Pittsburgh, PA and Melissa Souther of Pittsburgh, PA.; his grandchildren, Alexis, Brianna, Noah, Brodie, Rileigh, Bailey, Jenna and David, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Mya and Elliana; and his brother Kenneth Souther of Norwood. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
