James E. Walsh Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Walsh (Norton, Massachusetts), born in Rollingstone, Minnesota, who passed away on August 20, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard N. Walsh and Dorothy E. Walsh (Koehler); his brother Bernard Walsh; and his sister-in-law Pauline Slamin. He is survived by: his wife Margo J. Walsh (LoChiatto); his children, Rhonda L. Salvo of Norton and Barry J. Walsh of North Attleboro; his grandchildren, Zachary, Sarah, Jack and Quinn; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Wyatt; his siblings, Carole Ramirez (Frank) of Texas, Kenneth Walsh and Jerry Walsh; his mother-in-law Katherine LoChiatto of Newton; and his sister-in-law Lois LoChiatto of Newton.

In lieu of flowers, Jim's family would prefer that donations in his memory be made to Small-Cell Lung Cancer Research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215 or the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.
