He was predeceased by: his parents, James Niland and Catherine Niland (McElhinney); and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his wife Diane C. Niland (Hilferty); his children, Linda McCabe (Alfred Bregnard) of Mansfield, Judith O'Rourke (Richard) of Norton and Glenn Morgan of California City, California.; and his siblings, Edward Niland (Dolly) of Marco Island and Phyllis. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Due to the limitation of flowers allowed at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Jame's family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Hope Health Hospice Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02903.
