It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Danahey Sr. of Norton, Massachusetts, born in Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Danahey and Mary Danahey (Fahey); and his siblings, Leo, Thomas, Theresa, Mary, Margaret and Nancy.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Danahey (Brown) of Norton; his son John Danahey Jr. (Vickie) of Taunton; his grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Connor and Kathryn; his brother James Danahey of Taunton; his close friends, Manny and Ron; and also Maria.
