She was predeceased by: her husband Roger F. Karter, Sr.; her close friend George L. "Buddy" Beal, Sr.; her parents, Frederick Hayes and Edna Hayes (O'Brien); and her sister Carol Ranney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura J. Presentato (Peter) of Mansfield and Christine A. Karter of Uxbridge; her granddaughters, Kathryn Presentato of Dennis and Meghan Presentato of Mansfield; her brother Rev. Frederick Hayes (Patricia Hayes) of Waldoboro Maine; her nibling Gene Ranney of Florida; and her close friend Maureen Jagelski of Mansfield.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (330 Pratt St, Mansfield, MA 02048).
