He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Proia and Josephine Proia (Delfino); and his brother Lawrence Proia. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn M. Proia; his children, Michael Proia (Jennifer) and Gina Rindfleisch (Jake); his grandchildren, Isabelle Proia, Dylan Proia, Jacen Rindfleisch and Jaxson Rindfleisch; and his siblings, Paula, Karen and Albert.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, in honor of his service and sacrifice.
