It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita A. (Erickson) Thayer of Norton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph E. Thayer; her parents, John Erickson and Helen Erickson (Crowley); her son Michael R. Thayer; and her brothers, Robert Erickson, Warren Erickson and David Erickson.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda A. Goodis (Mark) of Norton; her grandson Matthew R. Goodis (Jennifer) of Canton; and her great grandchildren, Merrick, Maranda and Jason.
