He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Delaney and Louise Delaney (Lariscy); his son Robert "Bobby" Delaney Jr.; and his brother Michael Delaney. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Delaney Vayo; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Holland; his brother Charles Delaney of Plymouth; his godson Michael Delaney; his former wives, Judi Sbardella Mirka and Sue Donovan Delaney; and his grandsons, Shane Robert and Patrick Americo Delaney.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (330 Pratt St, Mansfield, MA 02048).
